Our hearts can remain
young forever
and so can our minds
As long as we can maintain
our inner child from within
So that we can continue
to enjoy the journey
But it is our bodies that
falter as
time continues to go on
And then one day we look into
the
mirror not knowing who we see
Because all we see is a stranger
And a mere shadow of the
person that we used to be
Our hearts can remain
young forever
and so can our minds
As long as we can maintain
our inner child from within
So that we can continue
to enjoy the journey
