When your heart is truly hurting
everything
can become extremely confusing
And when times like this do arise
Take in a moment to close your eyes
So that you can focus on the good
Lord for some guidance and direction
and some comfort and understanding
And when your finally done praying
Open up your eyes and look to the skies
and be grateful and thankful
that the good Lord is still listening
For he alone will give you all the strength
that you will need to get beyond
all the things that can be so challenging
