'' We're In A Battle That Cannot Be Won ''
My children loved me till my wife cheated,
our relationship was really strong,
now from their lives I've been deleted,
why when I did nothing wrong.
When I went to court to gain access,
they made me feel I was to blame,
why when I wasn't the one to transgress,
should I be made to feel shame.
They'd be better off with their mother,
that's what the experts say is the rule,
as parents they're like no other,
whoever says that is a fool.
The majority of us know this is so untrue,
we love our children as much as their Mothers,
but they have more rights what can we do,
the injustice a Father just smothers.
No account was taken of her cheating,
which proved her marriage vows were a lie,
my appearance in court was quite fleeting,
it was over before I could ask why.
I've to pay for the kids I no longer see,
if it wasn't so sick it'd be funny,
I wouldn't mind but between you and me,
I know they won't see any money.
Fathers are nothing but sperm banks,
in courts they are treated like dirt,
they are run by a bunch of inept cranks,
who think Dads don't feel any hurt.
Some children are poisoned against their Dad,
the Mother will then change their name,
what really drives a father mad,
to these bastards it's all a sick game.
They're then branded with the title of deadbeat,
when they decide to move away,
this is all done by a lying cheat,
who every week still expects her pay.
The pressure on Dad becomes so hard to take,
he will lose the will to live on
his spirit will die and his heart will ache,
no-one will notice he's gone.
To children who think their Fathers don't care,
I would never tell you a lie,
so please let me make you especially aware,
I will love you till the day I die.
Decent fathers everywhere are being attacked,
by social services and the courts we're outdone,
we are treated as scum that is a fact,
