SLIPPING AND A SLIDING

One inch of snow
Off to the movies we go
Advice to the snowbirds
Stomping on the gas is absurd
You just tend to slide sideways
From your tires smoke and haze
Put it in low gear
The less pressure is best my dear
You ain't going anywhere in place
But over an embankment in disgrace
Seventy miles on ice up a hill
Might make to the top but in for a thrill
See, even with four wheel drive you have to stop
Sliding in a ditch you land on top
I say skip the movie watch TV
Trying to get around you clowns no thrill for me
The tiniest incline they abandon their ride you see
I see this dude going straight up
What goes unsteady up comes down yup
Mama in a ditch be late for sup--!
