Its never easy saying goodbye
To someone that you thought
would love you forever and a day
And no matter how many years go by
You will always remember the
special love and the memories
that they had shared with you
Because they loved you in such special way
Just as much as you loved them on any given day
And no matter how much you may
wish that things
would have turned out differently
It still hurts at times like it just happened yesterday
And if only for a moment all you want to do is cry
Even though so many years have already slipped away
Its never easy saying goodbye
To someone that you thought
would love you forever and a day
