As if it was just yesterday
But time seems to have slipped away
And all you are now is just a memory
And it's just a crying shame that things
couldn't work out between you and me
Because I sure have missed
you since you have been away
And I always will no matter
how many years pass by
But I guess it just wasn't meant to be
Because the good Lord had
bigger and
better plans in store for me
