I felt so peaceful and serene

Musical  Composition By, Paul Collier - Floating along carefree

Written By D . A . M .

Friday, March 4, 2011

I felt so peaceful and serene
sitting
beside the beautiful stream

Because it felt like heaven
was embracing
the very essence of my being

Giving me such a warm
peaceful easy feeling

Because the sun was shining
again reminding me
that spring will be arriving soon

And I felt like singing as I listened
to the sounds of
water trickling down the stream

And that's when I closed
my eyes
and I took everything in

And that's when I could hear
the children laughing and playing

And I just wish that I
could
always have this feeling

And then I opened up my eyes
feeling revitalized
as I looked up to the skies
and I could see the birds soaring
way up high  floating in the wind

And this experience that I was having was
truly relaxing because I
literally felt like I was embraced by heaven
