If it takes me a life time of waiting
to be able to find
a woman that is loving and nurturing
It is far better then jumping into something
That doesn't have any substance or meaning
Because that would end
up hurting me all over again
And honestly I don't need to
go through that kind of pain
Because I prefer someone
who can truly be caring
And when the right woman comes along
I know with every ounce of my being
that it will be
much more rewarding and satisfying
Because I do prefer something with someone
that is more defining that could be everlasting
instead of
being with someone just for a temporary fling
