I am still struggling
after all this time
and I keep wondering
If I can ever be the same
Because I am still
hurting
like I have been
Just not as often
Like I did in the very beginning
But many years have come and
gone since
you had left me way back when
And I still cant get you out of my mind
because
of the love that we had shared back then
At least I was one of the lucky ones to have felt
the true meaning behind being loved by someone
and being able to love them just as much in return
At least once in this life time of mine
Yet true love isn't something
that happens
that many times in our lifetime
But when two people can truly
love each other
like we did way back then
Then it is not something that can be easily forgotten
I am still struggling
after all this time
and I keep wondering
If I can ever be the same
Because I am still
hurting
like I have been
Just not as often
Like I did in the very beginning
