It took me a long time to realize what's important
and what's not
at least I tried to make everyone of my wrongs right
But unfortunately with some things it's way to late
and no matter how I wish things could be different
I cannot possibly change the things from my past
more or less the people that I loved that ended up
getting hurt
and that's why I am still filled with so much regret
But in order for you to understand what I am talking about
there is only one thing that I need to explain
when I had turned eighteen I had started drinking a lot
Because it helped me to deal with the pain that I carried in my heart
And it took me nearly thirty years to break free from such a bad habit
And it is just so sad that there are a lot of things that I seemed to forget
Because it took me a long time to realize what's important
and what's not
at least I tried to make everyone of my wrongs right

and that's why I am still filled with so much regret
( I've been sober for seven years now and I have never felt better
I just wish that I had never
acquired a taste for alcoholic drinks because it almost ruined my life
and I just hope and pray if you are thinking about drinking think
about your loved ones first because they will be the ones who will
end up getting hurt first, But they should be the ones who truly matter the most!)
