I strive to get through one more day without you
But some days come with difficulty
Because it's been so hard getting over you
Yet other days go by easily and quickly
When I keep my mind preoccupied
on other things
instead of thinking about you
Yet the seasons continue to slip away
And I still find myself
thinking about you
Yet my memory of you is slowly
starting
to fade away of what use to be
And I can no longer see your face that clearly
Because all you are now is just a memory from yesterday
