Dear Lord all I ask of you today
is that you will give me
a sense of true peace and serenity
So that I may embrace the
adventure of the journey
that you have set before me
Instead of living this life of
mine like I have been lately
Because honestly I cannot live through
another day
if you do not intervene in my life today
Because I would find myself so lost and alone
like so many other sheep out there in the prairie
that don't have a Shepard that can lead the way
But if your willing to give me another try
because you still haven't given up on me
Through your direction and your guidance
I know in
my heart that you will help me find my way
So that I may embrace the
adventure of the journey
that you have set before me
