If you've fallen down
and your heart
feels bruised and torn
Because of the loss of
a
very special loved one
Who was a father or a mother
or a brother or a sister
or a husband or a wife
or a very dear and close friend
I understand
Your sorrows and your pain
and the emptiness
that you have been feeling
Because I have gone through
it so many
times in this life time of mine
And it can be so overwhelming
especially after they are gone
And knowing that you can never see them
or ever have a chance to talk to them again
for as long as you are still breathing and living
And if you ever need someone for a
little
extra comforting and understanding
I will try to be that person
And I will do my best to help you
in the best way that I possibly can
Because everyone needs some consoling every now and then
But even more so when it is regarding the loss of a loved one
