Now that I have matured and aged (Loneliness)

Music Composed By Paul Collier - Crying

Written By D . A . M .

Friday, April 8, 2011

Now that I have matured and aged

I have honestly felt
like a wilted
flower that has died

And if I could count all of my
tears that have fallen
I could fill up a wishing well
for all the times that I have cried

Behind my own doors
that
are locked and closed

Feeling lost and alone in this world

But if I could just find some
comfort from someone that
could be a
companion and a dear friend

That could be loyal
and compassionate
and gentle and kind

That could be there for me when
ever
I needed to be held and hugged

It would turn my
whole world around

And I would no longer feel
like a
wilted flower that has died

Because I would feel loved and
wanted and needed
and humbled and literally blessed

To have finally found someone
that was
truly special that actually cared
