I lie awake on top of my bed
wishing that I had someone
beside me instead of my pillow
where I could lay down my head
Because I would feel wanted
and I
would feel loved and needed
And more then anything
else I would feel appreciated
Having someone beside
me
that wants to be loved
Instead of dealing with these lonesome
feelings
that I have had flowing through my mind
especially late at night when I am in bed
