A broken heart will never get a reward

Written By D . A . M .

Music Composed By Paul Collier

Thursday, April 28, 2011

A broken heart will never get a reward

Because it hurts so bad and you feel like
you've died because you feel dead inside

And it seems like it takes forever just so
you can set your feelings aside and move
forward, but forgetting is really, really hard

Especially when you felt like it was the very first time in
your
whole life that you actually felt like you were truly loved

And after all this of this time that has already
gone by
it has still been really difficult to move forward

Because I still think about the wonderful memories that were shared

Because I was very fortunate to be with someone that actually cared

But all I can do for the time being is to hand all of my burdens over
to the good Lord so that he can
help me work through all of these emotional feelings that I have had
