Ask in my name and it will be given
to you,
now these are truly profound words
Because it is so hard to
imagine as a human being
That something like this
could
be possible and so true
But mark my words that it is
Because through him
anything is truly possible
Just like it was with
Sarah and Abraham
When the Lord appeared to Abraham
in the person of a visitor to his tent, and
Sarah overheard him say,
“I will surely return to you at this time next
year; and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son”
And this was a divine and spiritual turn for them
That's why it is so important to have the faith to
truly believe in him because you shall receive
your answers only in his time and not in your own
For the good Lord says in his scriptures
whatever you ask for in prayer, believe
that you have received it, and it will be yours.
(Rom. 4:19-21).
Of Abraham, the Apostle Paul wrote, “And without becoming weak in faith
he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a
hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah's womb; yet,
with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief, but grew
strong in faith, giving glory to God,
and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform”
Matthew 7:7-11
"Ask and it will be given to you;
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened
to you.
For everyone who asks receives;
he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks,
the door will be opened. "Which of you, if
his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give
good gifts to your children, how much more will your
Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!"
John 15:5-7
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me
and I in him, he will bear much fruit;
apart from me you can do nothing.
If anyone does not remain in me,
he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches
are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you,
ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you."
Mark 11:22-24
"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth,
if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,'
and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen,
it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you,
whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
