The Lancean Specificity

Not to Blow It

remembering one who did

The lines in the mirror
Come sharper and clearer
As the credit card cuts both ways
A Benjamin will do
To blow tomorrows yesterdays

As if I ever knew
What is not if but how crime pays
And when it does to know it
And then try not to blow it
As up the nose it goes
