After your done working
for the day you usually
end up driving back home
And when you do get there and open up
the front door to your
home you walk back into your bedroom
And as always you put your keys down
in the same place like you always do
and then you take your work clothes off
and you put them up and then you find
something very comfortable to put on
And then you go into your kitchen
and you look for something
good to eat to put into your oven
But lately this has been a daily routine that
has taken you awhile to get
used to ever since you lost your companion
And it is rather saddening to you because
there is no one there anymore that can
ask you how your day has gone that can
also give you a hug and a big welcome
back home but you still try to remain strong
but some times it is really hard when your tears
start falling down for no particular reason
except for the fact that your feeling so lonesome
But you always wipe them away as quickly
as they have fallen down and you pick up your
phone so that you can talk to a friend that
can lift up your hopes by being there for you
so that you wont end up feeling sad and alone
But just remember one thing like I have;
when there in no one else around that
you are never totally and completely alone
Just put your faith into the good Lord
in Heaven and he will give you
the strength and the power to overcome
But don't forget that you also have
your true dedicated
friends that you can always rely on
