Love and Humility
To whom God chose as His elect,
And has loved never to neglect;
Just be humble patient and kind,
Do not let things upset your mind.
Endure each other and forgive
The mistakes we make as we live;
Err is human forgive divine,
A confession never decline.
Forgive as the Lord forgave you,
And onto His Word remain true;
It is love that secures the bind,
Cords will that tie the heart and mind.
Let the peace of Christ control you,
With each and every day through;
God has called you onto the Son,
By making you as part of one.
Let the Word be in you and live,
And its wisdom let you forgive;
Use poetry and sermons preach,
As hymns and spiritual songs teach.
Allow the Word of Christ to impart,
As you sing to God from your heart;
And all you say and do be done,
Should be in the name of the Son.
So let Christ richly dwell within,
Free of corruption and all sin;
Giving thanks to God the Father,
Through the Son your Divine Brother.
