For Those Contemplating Marriage - A Message To Men
All though all men were created equal, all men are never equally prepared to deal with such things as committed relationships and the toils of marriage. What you must know and understand without any equivocations is that marriage, which was intended to be a perpetual union between man and woman, is a journey unlike any other. It takes time, devotion and endless effort. There will be ups and there will be downs. It is an institution that forces you to look inward and extend things to another that you may have never had extended to you and to give things you never knew you had within you to offer. Marriage like life places you on a constant path of learning. Each moment is a teachable moment. There will be times when your faith will be tested and the strength of your love will have to prove its tenacity. Compassion, selflessness and most of all respect, are three essential virtues that will guide you through the rough times. There may be moments of regret and there may be moments of even greater strife. Just remember that life has it's trials but time and prayer have a way of fixing all things and mending all wounds. Remember to always focus on recreating and reinventing your love and don't stop doing what you did when you met the love of your life and you will keep the love of your life. Try and make it so that when you look back over the years that there were more good times than bad times. Problems may arise. That is life. These things come to pass but love endures………
