So much precious time has already slipped away
But I am extremely happy to know
that you could reconnect with me
After all of these years
that
have already gone by
Because it has been twenty three years
and
even though you may be very far away
That really doesn't matter to me
Because it just feels like the last time
that
we talked to each other was yesterday
And we just started talking where
we left off and
that is what is truly amazing to me
And that's the main reason that you
have literally
brought the very life back into me
And you have given me another
wonderful
reason to wake up every day
Instead of having to go into a dreamy
state of mind for me to feel this way
And I just want to thank you for touching my
life like you have after all of these years
because you will always be very special to me
