Spirits who
Live in our homes,
Nurture nature,
And beg us to
Turn right
At the next light
So we won't
Get in an accident…
The part of us
Who dances,
Who makes music,
Creates art,
Sees the next invention,
Understands physics,
Like most
Understand people.
The essence
In all people
Who do in this life
What they come
To do…
Beings who
Live their lives
On other planets
In other galaxies
Who have no idea
What “our”
Very small concept
Of “god” is…
And yet still
Respects the power
And has awe
And wonder
For life
And the miracle
Of it…
They just call it
Something different…
