Living as a Living Stone
Get rid of all kinds of evil,
As well as any deception;
And prepare for the arrival,
Of Jesus and His inception.
No need in having hypocrisy,
Or with any kind of slander;
Nor have a streak of jealousy,
Or some gossip to meander.
Desire the pure Word of God,
As a newborn desires milk;
Then joyously honor and laud,
Like a princess admires silk.
You will grow in your salvation,
And have a taste of solid food;
When feeling the celebration,
In your heart through your attitude.
You have tasted that God is good,
And Jesus is the living stone;
The Father knew the builders would,
Scorn Him as the heir to the throne.
You come to Him as living stones,
For a sacred house being built;
And the deed that Jesus Christ owns,
Which will be free of sin and guilt.
For this honor only belongs,
To the ones who are not ashamed;
And have confessed all of their wrongs,
And believes what has been proclaimed.
