SILENT VOICE
A ravine between two ribs
Where emptiness lurks
And life is wasted
Quelled the deepest sigh
The heavy heart
And aching pain
Mortified by deadly silence
It charges forth
With burgeoning anger
The mask of serenity
A thin veneer
Avoids harboring guilt
Blackest visions in the rift
Silent voice releases
A heart rendering scream
The scream of a thousand deaths
A nightmare attempt
To stun the silent voice
