It is never easy saying goodbye
because it pulls at our heart
strings in every imaginable way
And all we can do is keep asking
ourselves why they had to go away
So unexpectedly and ever so quickly
But maybe our friends and our
dear loved ones would have
wanted it to happen that way
Instead of leaving this
world
behind ever so slowly
And suffering every single day
But what's even harder about losing
someone that you love deeply is
losing them without ever being able
to have the chance to say goodbye
Before it was time for them to go away
But unfortunately it doesn't
always happen that way
