Men Praising God
Sing to the Lord a new song,
Sing to the Lord all day long;
A new song of thanksgiving,
Thankful that you are living.
God covers the sky with clouds,
As the rain falls on the crowds;
Rejoicing while the earth,
Is nourished for all its worth.
God makes the grass and the trees,
Grow while a gentle breeze;
To cool down every one,
From the hot afternoon sun.
God ensures every beast,
Is able to have a feast;
And man also has the means,
To provide their own cuisines.
The Lord finds no joy in war,
Nor the rich shunning the poor;
But see hostilities cease,
And humanities for peace.
The greatest treasure is near,
To those who respect and fear;
The only true triune God,
That we give honor and laud.
For their faith shows that His love,
Gives us the hope from above;
A love that is unfailing,
For a future unveiling.
