Tonight I actually started reflecting on the
one thing that really got to me the most
today and you might think that it is funny
But I actually enjoyed sitting on the patio on my
swing while the sprinkler was
on and watching it as it kept going up and down
and hearing the drops falling on top of my awning
Because it truly allowed my imagination
to wander off to a wonderful place
that is absolutely peaceful and serene
And I know in my mind when I finally lay my
head down on my pillow tonight and I fall asleep
all I want to dream about is seeing the misty rain
falling down from the sky
especially right next to a pond or a calm stream
Because I would really enjoy watching all of
the beautiful circles forming in the water
from each drop of rain that falls from the sky
But who would ever imagine that just seeing
the sprinkler on could take my imagination
to such a serene place where
tranquility and true peace can embrace me
I guess the reason behind all of these thoughts is
the fact that I haven't seen one single
drop of rain for almost the whole month of July
