You decided to do things your way
and now your whole life is  filled
with nothing but stress and worry

Because you were always in a hurry
and look at where you are at today

While I just sat back and did things
my way and I may be really lonely

But I am almost sure that will change
some day
and believe me I am waiting patiently

For that one very special lady
to come around that can truly
make me happy in every way

But until then there is a reason that
I am taking things slowly
because I am not in such a hurry

But at least I can say that I am still very
happy because I took
the time out to enjoy each and every day

And maybe one day you
just might
learn something from me

By learning how to slow down
instead
of always being in such a hurry
