I have had the patience to wait

I have had the patience to wait
for someone new to enter into
this life of mine

Because I have been
waiting
for just the right one

And even though I haven't been
with anyone in four years
I no longer feel like I am alone

But I'll be honest with you I
do
get lonely every now and then

Just like the next person

But I continue to hold
on
for a very good reason

Because I know when
the timing is just right
that the good Lord will
bring me the right one

And when he does I will never have
to worry about being alone ever again

Because the good Lord will bring me someone
in his own time and not in my own
that will love me for the rest of my life time

So I will continue to remain patent until then

But when it does happen I will be
the happiest person that
I have ever been because I would
finally be complete and whole again
