Trial
We must obey the Lord,
Rather than to people;
Let it not be ignored,
As says in the Gospel.
We killed Him on the cross,
But God had brought Him back;
Rather than suffer loss,
The train has a new track.
That new track shows the way,
How God used His power;
Helping if we not stray,
Get set for the hour.
To change the way we think,
God will forgive the sin;
With a spiritual drink,
That is cleansing within.
We have witnessed these things,
With such of a Savior;
To the cross each one clings,
God sees us with favor.
For the Lord has given,
Onto those who obey;
Access up to Heaven,
For the price Christ did pay.
We stand trial each time,
When we go and decide;
Something that is a crime,
Since we did not abide.
But if we will confess,
God who is fair and just;
Will forgive you and bless,
If you give Him your trust.
