Painted rocks along the way
a desert where prarie dogs play,
right in front of the eyes
sun tea days that fill the skies.
Captured in a moment of awe
taking our breath away breaking the law,
as if to go on 4ever
we saw tumbleweed rolling together.
I have a piece of that tumbleweed
cause in a word 4ever my heart will feed,
feed upon that moment in time
cause i know his love's 4ever mine.
We stood and gazed at each sight
so much beauty so wrong but so right,
oh Arizona please take me
back to my youth with The Faron Lee.
We were so young just starting out
we traveled the world about,
what we saw there made our hearts melt
and we never forgot how we felt.
We kept that feeling of beauty
in our hearts as we went on our journey,
and now My Love's in Heaven....
where i wanna
wanna be there with him in Our Arizona.
Every single day here on earth
he gave me beauty so much it was worth,
i still have a bottle of colored sand
we brought back....
that he held in his precious hand.
