Allow no one try to despise,
The teacher that is very wise;
Do not let anyone ignore,
All things that you know being sure.
For the grace of God has appeared,
With salvation to those who feared;
Remaining humble to the Lord,
Since He is trusted and adored.
With kindness for everyone,
For the sacrifice of His Son;
As done for our benefit,
For the chance that we inherit.
We have been trained for to avoid,
The ungodly that have annoyed;
You with their earthly desires,
That temptation lights their fires.
But we can still expect to hope,
Through adversities we must cope;
So we must deny worldly lust,
Remembering in God we trust.
Let God look on you with favor,
Because of Christ our Savior;
He gave Himself to set us free,
From sin giving us liberty.
His Spirit comes to purify,
Then be able to rectify;
Our past through His forgiveness,
As His mercy pours blessedness.
So tell these things to believers,
That they are truly receivers;
Through the mercy and grace of God,
To whom we do honor and laud.
