The Lancean Specificity

Transcendental Sonnet #1475: Just Passing Through

It was Amerigasm in the Plaza again
Involving men with motorcycles but without sleeves
The long weekend confused me as to what day it was
After when the Street Fair ends and everyone else leaves
Before the autumn leaves blow after they go away
Might be more the time to write a quiet poem then
Not before these men and motorcycles have their say

But I can walk a long way on four Tootsie Pops and so
I go with love and leave fear here to do what it does
One in my hand and three more in my pocket left to go
Nowhere in particular but out and about it
Might be an adventure although after I might doubt it
Who never know before I go not quite so I do
Not coming from nor going to but just passing through
