What can I say about the current state of humanity or about the current state of my country, its place in history and its perception around the world? I guess the best way to describe my feelings is to offer you a brief summary of my discontent. First of all, I'm completely taken aback by the lack of courage and by the evidence of cowardice that many in this generation are showing in the face of political adversity. I'm utterly bewildered by how as freedom loving citizens we've allowed ourselves to be cornered and silenced by the tyranny of big government and I'm literally shocked to see just how far this country has strayed from its founding principles and its democratic ideals. To be honest, every day it is getting a little more difficult to turn a blind eye, to ignore the obvious and to not be disgusted by the ignoble activity going on in and around our nation's capitol but I'm completely at a loss when it comes to having a solution or deciding which way to go. I guess, like most others around the world, I'm suffering from what they call political paralysis which has rendered me numb, unmotivated, indifferent and uninspired about the future. Is it wrong to feel this way? Is this enormous wave of disbelief in government institutions justified and if so what's fueling it? What is it about the current political climate that's driving us all into an abyss of nihilistic cynicism? Further more, what can we do to stop it? Which leads to the most important question of the day. Is there really anyone walking on this earth that can ensure the stability that we so desperately need and can provide a pathway to real, positive and long lasting change that does not include countless lies and flip-flops or government infringement upon our God given unalienable rights? The current president, President Obama, doesn't seem to have the answers or to be the right man for the job although many thought he would be. Al Gore's "inconsistent truth" would be a total inconvenience on the global population and is filled with too many lies and unanswered questions not to give one pause and reasonable doubt. What about Hillary? McCain? Palin? Romney or Perry? History and our present situation tells me neither one of these candidates can pull us out of this mess, some for obvious reasons and some for reasons that remain to be seen. So the answer to our problems has to be something mightier than the deeply flawed politics of man. If because of political correctness this (supernatural intervention) is not something that you are willing to accept then the only viable alternative is that there's going to have to be a mass awakening of the public and a sudden realization that we're going to have to go in a totally different direction which of course will include making some drastic changes to our domestic as well as our foreign policy. Now, exactly what it's going to take to cause such a dramatic shift in our thought processes and for us to awaken from this corporate coma is far beyond me but if I had to guess I'd say that in the end it will have to be something of spiritual proportions and mankind will once again have to be lead out of the wilderness proving that contrary to what has become popular belief, it is in fact God and not man that is in control. The political machine that is currently exercising its strong hold on not only this country but on the entire world, has been in existence for far too long but shows no signs of weakening. Even though there's talk of recession, double dip recession, depression and so forth, that still does not change the fact that the powers that be are still practicing business as usual. Until we expose them and change this fact everything else we do will be lost in futility. The world around seems to be slowly imploding due to man's sinister doings and his negligence of humanity. But then again, this is how it's always been hasn't it? It's just "the way it is." Now the question I have for you is, what are you going to do about it?
