I can feel the reaper's presence as the time is drawing near
I've already made my peace with God and I know in a moment they'll be here
To take me for a walk down that long green mile
Because in a while I'll be murdered execution style
They'll shoot death in my arm and that'll be it
Putting an end to my life for a crime I didn't commit
I've pled my case over and over but from my fate I can no longer run
For tonight, I shall meet my demise and never see the sun
They're going to leave me shackled like an animal and strap me in nice and tight
Making sure they have a lethal dosage, just so they get it right
Yes, the mob is out for justice and they ignore my plea
As the government continues its killing spree.
