There have been so many times
that I have tried and I have
failed miserably in this world
With so many different things
And it was all because
of my own attitude, but
I will not be dismayed
or even discouraged
Because I have always believed,
as long as I put all of my trust
and my faith into the good Lord
That I can rise above all things
Especially after all of the
lessons that I have learned
Through my trials and errors
that were both good and bad
But I will no longer allow
myself to be
afraid or even saddened
For the good Lord alone has given
me the God given ability to succeed
