Darkness has come
and has fallen fast,
a future w/my special someone
has so sadly become my past.
No more light shines thru the shadows
only darkness i can see,
its like the dark suddenly knows
just where it can find me.
I have a long journey thru the darkness
with lonely as my companion,
how the light of day i so miss
that melted my heart when i walked with him.
It may be the stars in the skies
