Natural BeautyDo we ever take time out to see, The vibrant colour of flowers we grow, Take in their lingering fragrances, Gently wafting on breezes that blow, An eternal beauty that nature provides, In our rush we would otherwise miss, Nature's caresses we have taken for granted, our undeserving souls she'll kiss, Sit yourself down and open your eyes, Take in what's always there to see, Listening to the language of harmony, Like hearing a leaf drop from a tree, Rainbows arching over a vivid horizon, Against a backdrop of a stormy sky, Observing the richness of a golden sunset, A panoramic privilege for the eye, A fleeting light of a shooting star, Shapes of distant constellations far away, Distributed in a inky black background, An astral array, a celestial bouquet, All creatures also have a world within, Microscopic cells with a duty to do, Dedicated to maintaining that natural balance, Nature has a recipe to renew From temperate countries to tropical climes, Weather takes its own special form, Arctic blizzards from the bitterly cold north, To the seasonal tropical storm, Each holds its place upon this earth, Life requires this annual balancing act, That nature should be allowed to control, Man, needing to accept that fact.
