Without Rhyme Or Reason
Some Words Fell.....
Some words fell
and languished for a while
in corridors of yearning
they lay
still and stagnant
hidden by blinkered
hearts and minds
too wary to look
right or left
Some words fell
tumbled in
tortured chambers
of world weary
children
cast upon verdant fields
of longing
to come upon an open heart
and welcome mind
Some words fell
abandoned and cursed
by the curious
where even the voyeurs
turned their eyes away
lest they be blinded
by the light....
