The killing of Anwar Al-Alawki, whether you think it's good news or bad is beside the point,
Or if he was someone you would or would not anoint.
It really doesn't matter so call it what you will,
But now there's absolutely no denying that death panels are real.
Our inalienable freedoms and those guaranteed by The Constitution and Bill of Rights is what should be at the heart of the matter,
So it's about time that we cease with the thoughtless chatter.
While we're focusing so much of our attention on change and hope,
The rule of law is being strung up by a rope.
Whoever thought that such a thing could happen in America,
Without creating a huge case of mass hysteria.
Unsuspecting citizens deemed enemies of the state are up against a troubling doom,
Facing assassination attempts by government goons.
Militants, dissenters, patriots, rebels,
The state plays God while it labels them devils.
Kill,kill, kill it's a murder fest,
Again the government's at what it does best.
I turned on the tube and the President looked pissed,
He said he'd just crossed out a name on his hit list.
His poll numbers were slipping but take a look at him now,
After another suspected member of Al Qaeda's been taken down.
The way the accused kept dodging the bullet the President thought that the he must of had 9 lives,
But he finally hit his mark after several tries.
In the past he'd sent hell fire missiles half way around the world,
But in those attempts he missed and killed little innocent boys and girls.
Now that the ultimate task is complete let all be warned,
In the war on terror it doesn't matter even if you're American born.
Without judge or jury it's only an execution they stress,
What on Earth ever happened to due process?
Without question or oversight the Commander-In-Thief and a few of his henchmen are deciding who lives or not,
What country is this America or Cambodia under Pol Pot?
We are quickly running out of time to save The Republic and there's so much to do,
Especially when the next target for assassination could be you.
