What can I do and what can I say
to take
all of your hurt and your pain away
So that you would not have
to suffer for another day
Because I have hated seeing you
hurting
as much as you have been lately
But you know if I did have the ability
where I could magically
take all of your hurt and your pain away
I would take it all away in the blinking of an eye
so that you wouldn't have to suffer for another day
But unfortunately I don't have the ability
to do anything like that for anybody
So all I can do for you for the time being is to
continue to pray for you so that the good Lord
will intervene and bless you with a miracle today
