Dream of me tonight I can see in your eyes the truth behind the lies Unhappy that's what you are its coming to light The truth is coming out from under your lies I see all to well the truth in your eyes You want so badly to speak to tell me your wrong regret the decision you made when you broke my heart I warned you that this day would come I know you better than you knew yourself Its not fun without the fight for you Shes cheating again and your left to know why You chose to chase your unwitting lie I have grown stronger over time It is time for you to feel what you did to me Love you yes but something says its just not enough I chose to guard my heart this wall I've built you must now try to tear down My strength just wont allow the pain to come again farther in life i have come with the mask the mask hid the pain and helped to heal what you broke the scars are still fresh reminding me what you did I am in pursuit of a dream that you wont allow It is your time now to look to the sky and wonder Just wonder why pray please just tell me why The warning was given the tears were cried I couldn't believe that you would chase that lie Do what you feel you must if truth is what you seek I told you before I'm just not that weak You see me smile and laugh and play Your wondering why did the light come back into my eyes You found I truly am what you needed in life I found my strength drained fighting your demons Work harder now prove that its not another game I know the truth its time for you to speak I wonder still I believe you are just too weak come out and wonder will i break Can you get back what you never should have thrown away Time will let you know just what i have said time and time again you can only hope you get back what dreams are made of Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
