You simply refuse to have a mind of your own
And you always do what's expected
But you say it's all worth the sacrifice though
As long as you are protected
So quick to give up your freedom for security
You follow a premise that does not last
Thinking it leads to happiness but surely
You fail to remember the lessons of the past
Without hesitation you drink from a poisoned well
And eat the grass until you've had your fill
Then faithfully you wait for the calling bell
While fattening yourself for the kill
You're something less than a coward
And fact is, it's overwhelmingly sad to know
That you do everything within your power
To uphold the status quo
They make things terrible and you say they're fine
No matter what the government pulls
Not even putting up a fight you stand in line
And deliver yourselves to the wolves
Whatever another says or does in a jiff
You're obliged to say or do
If one said I'm going to go jump off a cliff
Then you'd rise and say me too
Even when facing croc infested waters
You all jump in one by one
Without ever stopping to think that it may be a slaughter
And that your dying day has come
I see you come running from near and far
To the shepherd's every beck and call
Bleating like the sheep you are
So say you one, so say you all.
