If I can help someone
As I go along
If my heart can touch just one person
Then that will be passed on to countless others
To be shared
We were put here on earth to help each other
Without reservation
Without judging what color a persons skin is
What a person looks like
We all look the same in the eyes of God
We are the same in the eyes of God
As I pass through this life
Let me leave a beautiful memory
Let me leave this world knowing
That I have done my best
That I have tried to make a better world
When I am met at those pearly gates
I pray God will meet me there
With a smile on his face
Hoping in my heart he will say "well done my child"
