Following His Example
The end of all is near,
So practice self-control;
Or soon you will have fear,
About your very soul.
You must keep your mind clear,
So that you can go pray;
For the things you hold dear,
And that you do not stray.
You must love each other,
Warmly so deep within;
Loving like a brother,
For love covers your sin.
Do not try to complain,
But treat them as a guest;
Be sincere sharing pain,
Help them to do their best.
You have to use the gift,
That God has given you;
Motivate and uplift,
Others to see it through.
If you talk speak the Word,
Through all that God has taught;
Ensure others have heard,
For answers that they sought.
You must serve with the strength,
That the Lord has given;
Glorified at the length,
For to enter Heaven.
