I am far from perfect
and I do make mistakes
Yet I try my best to
learn from each
and every one of them
In the best way
that
I possibly can
So that I can move
on
to the next lesson
But I still have regrets
Because I cannot change
words that
were spoken in haste
But at least the good
Lord reminds us often
And I tell myself
this
every single day
That we do have the power
and the ability to
become better human beings
From every experience that
we have on any given day
But it requires effort on our part
not to make
the same mistakes over and over again
And that's why I tell everyone
that I am still a work in progress
Because the good Lords
works
are far from being done
I am far from perfect
and I do make mistakes
Yet I try my best to
learn from each
and every one of them
In the best way
that
I possibly can
