Disavowing Deceit
I do not become discouraged,
From the ones who have damaged;
On the items that I have said,
I am quite encouraged instead.
God has given mercy and grace,
Since His Word helps me to save face;
I refuse using shameful ways,
Because only the truth conveys.
No secrets or hidden flim-flams,
I have no need for shams or scams;
All of what I speak of the Word,
Not distorted what you have heard.
It may sound a little uncouth,
But we clearly do reveal the truth;
Being to the point sounding blunt,
I would never put up a front.
This planet has blinded your eyes,
Causing such a dazzling disguise;
For the ones who do not believe,
Satan assures he will deceive.
So they will never see the light,
Knowing that the Good News is right;
With His glory and in His image,
To take that heavenly voyage.
So let it never be ignored,
About Jesus Christ is the Lord;
Let light shine out of the shadow,
Mirror your image as hallow.
