Saddening as it may be
I am not as happy
as I would really like to be
But I still have the faith that
the good Lord
is watching over you and me
And everything will
get a whole
lot better some day
So that you and I can get
through
every day a lot more easily
Instead of having to be filled with so
much doubt and
uncertainty like we have been lately
Especially with this
current
state in the economy
And I am almost certain that you
have been feeling the same way
Just struggling to get through a day
Like so many of us have lately
But try your best not to fret or worry
Because I still have the faith
and you should too
that the good Lord
is watching over you and me
