Just because I have been feeling down
does not in any way or form
mean that I cannot get back up again
Because as long as I am alive
and
living and walking and breathing
Nothing can keep me down for very long
Because I have God on my side
And I am just not going to let
the devil win more
or less allow myself to give in
And for as long as I am alive
and amongst
the liveing and the breathing
I will put all of my trust in him
Because the good Lord himself
has never failed me and
he will lift me back up again
As he always has when I
am feeling down and out
or a little bit torn and broken
